Picture Perfect

My hubby and I have been living on Queensland's breathtaking South East Coast for the past 8 months. These pictures of Tugan Beach and the Gold Coast by Vince capture the essence of the outdoor lifestyle we are so blessed to have here.

Spring Celebrations

Welcome to my third post :-) I am really excited about my future posts, I love dreaming about the perfect holiday and researching top travel destinations and fun things to do over summer. I found these delightful images from Such Pretty Things, and had to share them.

Picnic Basket

Pastel Cupcakes

Can you think of a better way to celebrate the coming of summer than to organise a pretty picnic or afternoon tea? My hubby and I have spent many summers doing just that with our friends and family.

Pretty Picnic

Shabby Candy

Where we currently live we are blessed with a tropical climate making the temperature nearly always perfect to enjoy cool drinks, fresh fruit and other yummy treats from the comfort of a picnic blanket!

Cherry Blossom Picnic 2010

Sadly it is raining today :( so I will plan some inside activities. I might turn on the air-conditioner and pretend it is winter and snuggle up in a warm rug! just kidding! :P

Take me to Tuscany

Tuscany is one of the cities that features at the top of my travel wish list. Characterised by rolling hills, vineyards, quaint villages, and pretty streams, there truly is no where quite like Italy.

Tiziano Taddei has captured the Tuscany of my dreams in these stunning images below which truly are inspirational.

Colori della natura...............

Can you imagine anywhere more romantic than 'Toscana' or Tuscany - Italy's most central city?

IMGP0068

Picture yourself riding your bike along pretty meandering paths with nothing but wildlife and tranquil countryside in the distance.

Ultimi raggi di Sole.............

I think I would have to stay in a Tuscan villa, just to remind myself that I really am in Italy.

The Place I Call Home

As this is my first post I thought it would be fun to give you a little glimpse into the place I call home.

I am sharing some pretty snaps I took while holidaying at the beautiful Mahia, which is just an hour north of Gisborne.

My home town Gisborne is officially the first city in the world to see the sun. With each sunrise brings a new adventure and I have had many happy moments with loved ones on these sandy shores.
